Easy Fudgy Brownies
All Cocoa Brownies

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup dutch process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup chocolate chunks (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In an 8x8 in square pan, create a foil or parchment paper sling by cutting a large square of material and pressing into the pan so that there are flaps hanging over the edge to grab the material by to remove the baked brownies from the pan.
Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Remove from heat when melted and stir in sugars and then cocoa powder. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until combined. Add salt and flour and mix until just combined (do not overmix). Fold in chocolate chunks if using.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, do not overbake or they won’t be fudgy.
